I graduated as an environmental engineer and engineering teacher from the University of Sopron. My scientific mindset is now closely intertwined with painting in my life. Painting was initially a way to slow down and escape from work, but it gradually became a part of my everyday life.

 

My love of nature and landscape is decisive for me. I believe that understanding the landscape can only be achieved through careful observation – which is an increasingly challenging task in today's fast-paced world. Perhaps this is why plein air painting is close to my heart, where you have to react quickly and sensitively to continuous changes.

 

When creating, I work with a brush and a paint knife. This duality simultaneously provides a framework and freedom, while allowing room for playfulness and instinctive application of stains. My paintings often feature details of the Fertő cultural landscape, impressions of the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. Most of my works are made with oil paint.

 

I lead art classes for children in several locations, where I pass on the approach that creation means to me: attention, freedom, and joy.

I have been a member of the Sopron Fine Arts Society since 2023.
